Patterned Paper as a substrate for prototyping PDMS chip |
We presented the use of patterned paper as a low-cost, flexible substrate for rapidly prototyping PDMS microchip via “liquid molding”. This prototyping PDMS microchip has some favorable merits including simple operation procedures, fast concept-to-device time, and low cost, providing the potential applications in POC diagnostics. |

Differentiation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) Under Tensile Stress |
This work presents a simple membrane supported microdevice for the investigation of MSCs behaviors under tensile stress. The mechanical stimuli can induce the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation in MSCs, which is involved in the development of tissue organ. |

Nanofiber-modified surface directed cell migration and orientation |
We demonstrated a simple method to pattern PDMS surface by sacrificing PVP electrospinning nanofibers and investigated the growth profile of stromal cells on the modified patternning surfaces. The cells were observed to exhibit good biocompability on this modified surface and the alignment patterning nanofibers could promote cell migration obviously. |
