Integrated multiple PCR-CE microfluidic device for pathogen detection

A microfluidic device integrated multiple PCR chambers with multichannel separation was developed. The device enabled the simultaneous measurement of HPV virus in a short time with less sample consumption, demonstrating the potential of this device for parallel pathogen detection in clinical diagnostics.

Wax Patterned Nitrocellulose Membrane Chip

We established the method to fabricate paper-based microfluidic device in nitrocellulose membrane by wax printing, which can be used for protein immobilization related analysis. The fabrication process, is only within 10 min including printing and baking steps. The wax-patterned nitrocellulose membrane will enhance the capabilities of paper microfluidic devices and bring new applications in this field.

Evaluating the agonist of formyl peptide receptor in RBL-FPR cells

A set of functional microfluidic chip was developed for the rapid evaluation of protein targeted receptor (GPCR) in RBL-FPR cells. The multiple cells behaviors in response to selective agonists were investigated effectively, including chemotaxis receptor internalization, and mobilization, indicating the role of these devices for drug screening
