•Dr.Jianhua Qin is currently a chair professor in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). She has been appointed as the group leader in DICP since 2006, and the director of Microfluidics Research Center since 2009. She has received Ph.D in Chemistry from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and M.D in Medicine from China Medical University, with a visiting scholar in University of Hong Kong and University of Toronto, respectively.

•Dr. Qin was elected as the Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) in 2014, and selected as the Excellent Research: Hundred Women of Chemistry of RSC. She has delivered > 90 invited keynote and plenary talk in the international conferences, including Nobel Symposium on Microfluidics at Sweden. She serves as the associate editor of Lab on a Chip and the editor-in-chief of Organs-on-a-Chip. Dr. Qin has published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, and filed more than 40 patents to date.
