Flexible synthesis of shape-controlled particles |
We described an unique method to produce particles with different morphology by using double emulsion as templates. By varying the flow ratio of inner phase and middle phase and the core number in single shell droplet, particles with different morphology, including crescent, tri-pod, tetra-pod, et al, can be produced uniformly and regulated flexibly. |

Role of Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Tumor Microenvironment |
We construct a series of functional microdevice to closely mimick the tumor environment and explore of the role of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in ACC tumor metastasis. The homing behavior and promoting invasion of MSCs were observed, besides, the signal pathway involved in tumor extravasation and nvasion was investigated as well. |

Electrical control of droplet breaking and droplet contents extraction |
We presented a novel electric-based method that could selectively break a droplet and extract its contents into aqueous buffer in a controllable manner on a microfluidic device. This approach could be used for single droplet analysis followed by separation and may provide a way to perform complex fluid handling in a droplet. |
